Use Your FSA or HSA Card

Many services at Roman’s may qualify for payment with a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) card, which lets you use pre-tax dollars toward your care.

What Makes a Service FSA or HSA Eligible?

The IRS generally allows FSA/HSA funds to cover treatments used to diagnose, treat, mitigate, or prevent a specific medical condition — not services used only for general relaxation or wellness. Some services, like acupuncture and massage therapy, are commonly eligible when they’re addressing a diagnosed condition, though your plan administrator may ask for a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN)* from your medical provider before approving the claim. 

*Note: Roman’s Wellness Center does not provide Letters of Medical Necessity, as these must be issued by a physician. You can check with your plan administrator to determine what you would need to provide to have some of your services potentially covered at Roman’s.

•   Confirm with your plan administrator. Check with your plan administrator to confirm ahead of time what is covered or required for services to be covered, so you don’t run into any surprises if they reject or deny a service.
•   Pay at checkout. Simply present your FSA or HSA card like any other card at the time of service.
